LogMate TiPSView V3.62 Released
TiPSView (LogMate web services component, including netView, ACE and TRAC) has been updated to version 3.62 which includes several enhancements and improved functionality.
- ACE Table Population: is more effecient for large databases.
- Agent Manager: The TiPSView Agent Manager 3.62 has a new configuration screen that provides improved security and simplified user interface; users will now configure their database connection using a Microsoft SQL Server Database Configuration instead of a Microsoft UDL box, eliminating the possibility of exposing the database username and password.
- Database Connection String in Page Source: Increased security by enhanced encryption with the database connection string.
- Emailed Reports: TiPSView Agent 3.62 permits generated reports to be sent to multiple people by correctly adding separator characters to the list of recipients.
- Criteria Confirmation Failure: Enabled confirmation for criteria that contains an apostrophe ( ' ) in the description.
- Invalid Criteria Check: Corrected false errors on configuration page when criteria was related to criteria used for ACE tables; error messages are now only displayed if downstream (nestled) criteria are not associated with the database.
- Print to File: Unique filenames are now permitted when a user prints to file from any of the screens that allow it.
LogMate Capture V6.30 Update
Capture is the LogMate module that collects event data from connected systems and processes it into a database. The following enhancements have been added to this latest release:
- Dynamically concatenate User String fields into the Tag and Type fields of the LogMate alarm and event databases. This will allow for easier filter definitions and better integration of the Alarm KB in the future.
- ASCII File port interface improved to handle added support of mixed CR/NL combinations.
- Improved COM Port Interface to support YOKOGAWA CS system addressing automatic reconnect at shutdown.
