Getting More Dynamic
In this second newsletter of 2006, we highlight a dynamic twist
that uses the LogMate Signal module to dynamically change alarms.
We also feature a white paper by ExperTune about "Making APC Perform".
Enjoy!
Are you using LogMate in a creative way? Let us know! Maybe we'll
write an application note so other LogMate users can benefit.
New LogMate Application Note:
Dynamic Alarming with LogMate

conditions. Many view dynamic alarming as the next progression in
control system alarm technology. Configuring basic alarm activation
logic is an important task, dynamically changing that logic is the
next phase.

Making APC Perform
(A Partner Article from ExperTune)
Advanced Process Control (APC) promises to deliver optimal plant
performance by optimizing setpoints, decoupling interactions, and
improving control response. To have a successful APC application,
you must continuously monitor and assess the performance of the
advanced controller. In addition, you should establish and maintain
a solid foundation for control. Sensors, valves, and controllers
must be continuously monitored to ensure optimal operation.
