April 23-25, 2008 Houston InterContinental Houston, TX Another great conference! The energy during and momentum leaving the conference was very powerful. Gathering so many people together who are excited about what TiPS and ExperTune is motivating and gratifying simultaneously. THANK YOU to everyone who contributed: attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and staff! It is really exciting to see so many informed and eager people attend. We're very thankful to be able to associate with and gain knowledge from some of the greatest practitioners of alarm and abnormal condition management, including Bridget Fitzpatrick from Mustang Engineering, Doug Rothenberg from D-RoTH, Ian Nimmo from User Centered Design Services, and David Strobhar from Beville Engineering and the Center for Operator Performance. We also appreciate having people from the end user community share their powerful stories, including the poignant background behind LyondellBassell's impressive "Critical Condition Management" program, and the challenges facing Eli Lilly as they comprehensively research current alarm management practices to help shape their own program.
